Holistic Postpartum Care on the NSW Central Coast
Holistic Postpartum Care in Your Home
Jamu massage, bengkung belly binding, and emotional support to help you rest, recover, and reconnect after birth.

I’m Elle Teague, a Certified Jamu Innate Postpartum Care Practitioner and AHPRA Registered Nurse, dedicated to supporting new mothers on the Central Coast, NSW.
I bring holistic postpartum care to the sanctuary of your home, combining traditional Jamu massage, bengkung belly binding, and gentle full-body massage to soothe your body, quiet your mind, and gently guide you back to yourself as you settle into motherhood.
My approach is both evidence-based and deeply nurturing – supporting physical and emotional wellbeing, and creating a safe space in the fourth trimester.
Services & Pricing
I am dedicated to providing holistic postpartum care to new mothers. My services are designed to nurture you physically, emotionally, and mentally - particularly in the fourth trimester - in the delicate weeks and months after childbirth. I will travel to you and complete all postpartum care in your home.

I offer two services:

The Fourth Trimester Jamu Experience
Innate Jamu full body massage, application of Jamu abdominal herbs, and binding and wrapping of the abdomen and pelvis. Breathing and meditation, honouring of the mother and her journey. Two cups of nurturing Mothers Milk tea to close our care each day.
A deeply restorative postpartum healing experience that takes place over 5-10 separate visits to your home.

Full Body Postpartum Massage
Gentle, therapeutic message to release tension, drain lymph, and help your body recover after birth.
This rhythmic massage detoxifies the body, which can be especially helpful if the Mother has been exposed to any inductions, drugs, morphine, gas, synthetic oxytocin etc.

My Experience
Following the homebirth of my second child in 2021, I was introduced to the beautiful Jackie Gorman (founder of Nurture By Touch), who came to my home for two weeks to care for me with her expertise in Jamu massage. With Jackie’s physical and emotional support – alongside the care of my two amazing homebirthing midwives – I had never felt more cared for, respected and prepared for my journey in motherhood to continue with two children. It was through this pregnancy and postpartum journey that I fell in love with learning about everything to do with birth and postpartum care.
Fast forward four years, and I had the honour of learning the Nurture by Touch Method™ from Jackie directly.
Tend To Her is the culmination of my training with Jackie, my education in mental health as a Registered Nurse, and my personal development as a mother. It's my platform to share everything I know about pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and holistic wellbeing with other mothers who need support.

What is Jamu?
Jamu is a traditional Indonesian practice combining massage, herbal remedies, and abdominal wrapping to aid postpartum recovery. It’s a ritual of care and healing that I bring into a modern setting for mothers here in Australia.
What is Postpartum Care?
Postpartum care is about supporting mothers in the tender weeks after birth, when both body and mind are adjusting. Touch plays a vital role — soothing anxiety, lowering stress, and grounding us in moments of change. Through massage, wrapping, simple feeding and settling guidance, and compassionate conversation, postpartum care helps mothers feel held, nurtured, and more connected as they begin the new adventure of motherhood.

Why mothers choose Tend To Her
Through nurturing Jamu massage, traditional binding and wrapping techniques, and gentle, therapeutic touch, my care helps soothe your nervous system, release tension, and support your body’s recovery after birth. These rituals guide you back into your body – physically and energetically – creating a sense of containment and reconnection to self. My care is designed to calm both the mind and body, easing anxious thoughts, lowering stress, and fostering peace in the postpartum period. I also offer a safe, compassionate space for birth debriefing and emotional processing, helping you feel validated, supported, and mentally lighter as you step into motherhood.

“It is time to reclaim the postpartum period and reinstate it to its rightful place as the important conclusion of the childbearing story, something that deserves as much forethought as pregnancy and birth.”
